Flights -

Where do you start? A search engine is as good as any and you could simply put in something along the lines of "Cheap flights to Alicante and Murcia". In some cases this will return broker sites but it may also take you through to the airline website direct and below we have provided links to airlines we know fly to Murcia and/or Alicante

Car Rental -

Having your own car for your entire stay will provide you with the means to discover the whole of the area without having to rely on public transport, which is available. With plenty of amenities nearby (bars, restaurants, etc) you can choose to stay local but with so many attractions also a short drive away, access to a car would be advisable. For information the apartment has a dedicated parking space.

Similar to above the best place to start is probably a search engine but be warned there are 100's of companies that do car rental in the area. Our advice would be to, where possible, use companies that have a full/full policy on fuel (i.e. you collect with full tank and return full) as in our experience even when you intend to do a lot of driving you very rarely actually use anywhere near all of it. Even when you use a company that operates full/full you will have to pre-pay for fuel but at least with this policy they will refund the amount you pay for fuel.

The number of companies operating full/full is limited and it is less of an issue if you will have the car for approx 1 week and/or you know you will be doing a lot of driving. However, if your stay is only for a few days or you don't intend to drive much, this will mean that the cost of the car rental, which on the surface appears quite cheap, ends up being feeling quite expensive.
