One of the beauties of the Costa Blanca is that you can do as little or as much as you like! Many of the main attractions are noted on The Areapage but not all. Dream Hills II is primarily a residential area and therefore is not a suitable location for groups wanting more of a 'resort' holiday - we consider the ambiance created by a mix of resident and holidaymakers to be a major asset and naturally expect all people who stop here to respect other residents.
This is not to say that a fun time can't be had by all and for those wanting a more vibrant nightlife can find this at various commercial centres, coastal bars or by making the short trip into Torrevieja. Local bars / restaurants that are within walking distance tend to quieter and close slightly earlier as a reflection of their close proximity to residents.
With regards to eating there is a wide choice of types of food to eat in addition to British or Spanish food. For example, there are a lot of Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants as well as examples of cuisines from other countries, so if you consider yourself quite a varied eater then you have choices galore and best of all, price of food and drink is typically cheaper than UK prices and for spirit / wine drinkers, the measures are extremely generous!
If you like shopping, in addition to the normal array of shops found in the nearby towns / cities, the recent addition of the Habeneras Shopping Centre on the outskirts of Torrevieja near to the casino & water park is home to many well known shops such as H&M as well as Spanish brands. Even if you don’t like shopping you will appreciate the open, airy environment and there is also plenty of places to stop and have something to eat and drink (alcoholic or otherwise).
